By Houston ISD’s Health and Medical department will host two virtual information sessions for those interested in becoming a school nurse for the upcoming school year.
Those sessions are scheduled as follows:
- Aug. 1, 2:30-3:30 p.m.
- Aug. 8, 2:30-3:30 p.m.
The sessions will include information on the recruitment and selection process, eligibility requirements, compensation, and benefits.
Eligible candidates must be licensed to practice in the state of Texas, and also be certified to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation and to use an automated external defibrillator. (CPR/AED)
