By It’s STAAR week at HISD Sylvan Rodriguez Elementary and the school organized a fantastic STAAR parade.
Students from Pre-K to 2nd grade paraded through the pods, cheering on their 3rd to 5th-grade peers, the Space Rangers, who are gearing up for the challenges ahead. It’s all about working hard and playing hard at Sylvan Rodriguez Elementary, and this spirit of teamwork and encouragement is what makes every mission possible!
But amidst the anticipation and excitement, the school also understands the importance of relaxation and mindfulness. For the first-time STAAR testers in 3rd grade, a special Spa Day was organized to provide them with a moment of tranquility and relaxation before the big day. After a year’s worth of hard work and dedication, these students deserved a chance to unwind, inhale, exhale, and recharge their spirits.
