Bellaire High School Guitar Ensembles Shine At Hill Country Classical Guitar Festival

Music filled the air with melodies of triumph as Bellaire High School’s Varsity and Junior Varsity Guitar Ensembles won first place in the prestigious Hill Country Classical Guitar Ensemble Festival and Competition held at Texas State University. The event served as a platform for young talents to showcase their skills, and Bellaire High School did not disappoint.

For the second consecutive year, the Bellaire Varsity Guitar Ensemble clinched the 1st place, a testament to their dedication, hard work, and musical prowess. Additionally, the Bellaire Guitar Quartet, a subgroup of the Varsity Ensemble, was awarded 1st place in their category, further highlighting the depth of talent within the Bellaire music program.

While there is no official state title for guitar ensembles, Bellaire’s consistent excellence at major competitions like this one and others make them the de facto State Champs, having surpassed other top groups for two consecutive years.

Bellaire High School not only has one of the best music programs in the district, but is also known for its quality of education, ranking among the best schools in the nation in different years.

Congratulations to Bellaire High School’s Varsity and Junior Varsity Guitar Ensembles, as well as the Bellaire Guitar Quartet, for their outstanding achievements at the Hill Country Classical Guitar Festival and Competition. Your talent, dedication, and musicality continue to inspire us all! Bravo, Bellaire!
