CVHS Junior Anna Oliva Wins Top Honors In Mathematics At Regeneron International Science & Engineering Fair

We are thrilled to announce that Carnegie Vanguard High School junior, Anna Oliva, has achieved a remarkable victory at the 2024 Regeneron International Science & Engineering Fair (ISEF), the world’s largest pre-college STEM competition. Anna competed in the mathematics category and secured 1st place, earning her a prestigious trip to the Nobel Prize ceremonies in Sweden!

The ISEF was held in Los Angeles, CA from May 11-17. Each year, more than 1,800 students from around the world compete in the fair for scholarships, internships, scientific field trips and other monetary prizes.

Anna’s dedication and passion for mathematics have truly set her apart. Her outstanding performance at the Regeneron ISEF highlights not only her talent but also the incredible opportunities available to our students through hard work and determination.

We are incredibly proud of Anna’s achievements and look forward to following her journey as she continues to excel and inspire others in the field of STEM.
