At Wesley Elementary, we recently completed a beautiful new mural in our school hall, dedicated in memory of our beloved student, Aliyah Jaico. This heartfelt tribute stands as a lasting remembrance of Aliyah, who tragically passed away at the age of 8 after an accident at a Houston hotel pool.
“Don’t tell me the sky is the limit, when there are footprints on the moon,” the mural reads. It also shows astronauts and rockets in a sky full of stars.
The mural, painted by T. Bradley Murals, captures the vibrant spirit and joy that Aliyah brought to our school community. It is a testament to her enduring impact on her classmates, teachers, and all who knew her. As students pass by the mural each day, they are reminded of Aliyah’s warmth and the importance of cherishing every moment.
We are deeply honored to have this mural as a part of Wesley Elementary, and we thank T. Bradley Murals for ensuring that Aliyah’s memory continues to inspire and touch the hearts of everyone in our school.
