By Houston ISD is continuing its online information sessions regarding the district’s Alternative Certification Program from 5:30- 6:30 p.m. on July 25, July 30 and Aug. 1.
The sessions are for those candidates interested in potentially teaching in the district, which is currently hiring for many campus positions including critical teacher shortages in science, math and bilingual education.
Educational requirements as follows:
- Completion of an undergraduate or graduate degree at an accredited institution of higher education in the United States, not including US Territories, or;
- Completion of an undergraduate or graduate degree earned from a list of approved countries, or;
- Pass the TOEFL-iBT exam
