HISD Bond Plans For 3 New Buildings For Co-Location Campus In Furr Feeder

Houston ISD’s bond plan includes building three new spaces for Holland Middle School, Pleasantville Elementary and Port Houston Elementary. 

The plan was born out of the current low enrollment and extensive repairs identified for each school, along with the goal of increasing efficiencies by sharing a new space.

The details for each campus planned repairs and rebuilds are as follows:

Holland Middle School –

• Estimated cost of $148,540,000
• Safety and security upgrades, HVAC improvements, lead abatement
• Located at 1600 Gellhorn Dr.

Pleasantville Elementary School –

• Estimated cost of $5,990,000
• Safety and security upgrades, HVAC improvements, lead abatement
• Located at 1431 Gellhorn Dr.

Port Houston Elementary School –

• Estimated cost of $5,900,000
• Safety and security upgrades, HVAC improvements, lead abatement
• Located at 1800 McCarty St.
