HISD Nutrition Services will continue to provide breakfast and lunch service through the School Breakfast Program (SBP) and National School Lunch Program (NSLP) for the 2024-2025 school year.

Most HISD students will have the opportunity to receive school breakfast and lunch meals at no charge.

Students attending the following schools must complete the Free/Reduced Price Meal Application to receive meals based on their individual eligibility status:

  • Kinder High School for Performing and Visual Arts
  • Horn Elementary
  • Travis Elementary
  • Oak Forest Elementary
  • River Oaks Elementary
  • West University Elementary
  • Roberts Elementary

Parents/guardians from the schools listed above can complete the application at https://schoolcafe.com/HoustonISD. The evaluation will identify each student as Free, Reduced, or Paid for all meals consumed. Student eligibility status is kept confidential.

For a printed copy of the application and instructions in English or Spanish, and for any questions or support, please contact Student Eligibility and Accountability department at (713) 491-5944 or eligibilityinfo@houstonisd.org.

Students attending HISD schools other than those listed above may continue to receive school lunch and breakfast at no cost.
