This weekend’s HISD varsity football action saw a series of exciting matchups and dominant performances, leaving teams ready for the next stretch of the season.

Friday, Oct. 18 Results:

Chavez vs Bellaire (W): 18-53

Saturday, Oct. 19 Results:

Milby (W) vs Madison: 21-14
Heights vs Lamar (W): 20-34

Furr vs Worthing (W): 6-20
Northside vs North Forest (W): 2-74

In addition to these exciting games, HISD also celebrates Worthing Athletic Coordinator Brandon Ellis for winning the Houston Texans’ Coach of the Week award. Thanks to this award Worthing students will receive $2,500.
