HISD Partners with Hazel Health to Offer Free Telehealth Services for Students During School Holidays

Houston Independent School District (HISD) has partnered with Hazel Health to provide students with free telehealth services, including both medical and therapy visits, during the school holidays. This collaboration ensures that students can access high-quality healthcare and therapy from the comfort of their home or school, without the financial burden on families.

Hazel Health offers flexible hours to accommodate students’ needs:

  • Therapy sessions are available from 9 AM to 7 PM.
  • Medical visits are offered Monday through Friday, from 7 AM to 5 PM.

These services are accessible via any smartphone, tablet, or computer, ensuring that all students have the opportunity to receive care regardless of their location.

The best part? There is no cost to families for these services. All visits through Hazel Health are confidential, providing students with the privacy and trust they need while addressing their health concerns. This initiative is designed to ensure that students can continue receiving the care they need during school breaks, without interruption.

To get started, parents or guardians can complete a consent form online, and for any questions, they can contact Hazel Health at 888-541-7063. The form is easily accessible through the Hazel website, and parents are encouraged to enroll their students in the program.

Through this collaboration with Hazel Health, HISD is prioritizing the mental and physical well-being of its students, ensuring that they have access to important healthcare services even when school is out.
