It’s a time of celebration and recognition at Carnegie High School as two exceptional seniors, Olutobi Adeyeri and Sasha Cabral, have been awarded the prestigious Chick-fil-A Community Scholars Scholarship. Their achievements shine brightly as they join a select group of 12 students from across the nation to receive this honor, which includes financial support for college, mentorship opportunities, and leadership training.
This scholarship not only provides financial assistance for their college education but also offers valuable mentorship and leadership development programs. It’s a testament to their hard work, perseverance, and commitment to excellence both inside and outside the classroom.
“The Chick-fil-A Community Scholars program is unlike other scholarship programs because it comes with the opportunity for students to participate in a year-long leadership development and mentorship program,” said Brent Fielder, senior director of corporate social responsibility for Chick-fil-A, Inc. “Scholars are paired with a Chick-fil-A Staff leader to mentor them. Scholars also have the chance to meet together virtually each month, creating an environment of collaboration, growth and fun.”
As they prepare to embark on their college journey, Olutobi and Sasha serve as inspiring examples of the talent and potential within Carnegie High School’s student body. Their achievements reflect the school’s dedication to nurturing well-rounded individuals who are prepared to succeed in higher education and beyond.
Congratulations once again to Olutobi Adeyeri and Sasha Cabral on this well-deserved recognition. We look forward to seeing the incredible impact they will undoubtedly make in their college careers and beyond.
