HISD Bond Proposes Funding for Permanent Lead Removal

Houston ISD officials are seeking $1.04 billion in bond funds to provide the resources to permanently remove lead from all campus water sources and other safety improvements (including HVAC repairs) as part of the proposed $4.4 billion bond.
