HISD To Hold Teacher Hiring Event July 18

The HISD Talent Acquisition Team will host a hiring event July 18 from noon–3 p.m. at Delmar Fieldhouse located at 2020 Mangum Road.

This district is looking to fill both NES and non-NES campuses for bilingual, special education and pre-K teachers. 

For those with five years experience, the compensation for non-NES school instructor positions is as follows:

• Non-NES special education teacher salary: $83,000
• Non-NES bilingual teacher salary: $66,000
• Non-NES pre-K teacher salary: $66,000

For those with five years experience, the compensation for NES school instructor positions is as follows:

• NES special education teacher salary: $92,000
• NES bilingual teacher salary: $81,000
• NES pre-K teacher salary: $76,000
