HISD To Host Bond Opportunity Workshops For MWBE’s Beginning Aug. 6

Houston ISD is hosting four bond related workshops for Minority and Woman-owned Business Enterprise (MWBE) this month starting with Aug. 6 at Revere Middle School from 9-11 a.m.

Business owners interested in attending the workshop can RSVP.

The district hopes to have significant MWBE participation in the projects proposed in the “Renew HISD” bond plan, and has set a goal of 30 percent for contracts over $50,000.

The proposal includes key initiatives that aim to benefit economically disadvantaged communities.
