Local Industries And Colleges Partnering With HISD For CTE Programs

By adding three new Career and Technical Education (CTE) facilities, the district plans to continue to develop partnerships with regional industries and educational institutions to enhance opportunities for Houston ISD students.

If the “Renew HISD” bond proposal passes board approval and voter approval in November, it will exponentially expand HISD’s CTE program offerings.

Some of the current CTE partners include construction companies, communication infrastructure companies, healthcare entities and local community colleges.
