No-cost mental and physical health care services are currently available for all students on 88 of our campuses and HISD FACE Sunrise Centers through a partnership with Hazel Health. HISD students can be seen virtually by Hazel Health’s licensed providers in the nurses’ office, at Sunrise Centers, or at home. Students can be treated for everything from stomach aches to colds to rashes, as well as anxiety and depression. Wait time to see a doctor averages only about 4 minutes, and about 86% of students are able to be treated and go back to class. At HISD, we are committed to supporting the whole student.
