The HISD Athletics Department is offering no-cost water safety lessons for students of all grade levels this summer, thanks to a grant from USA Swimming.
The first session runs June 17-27.
The second session runs July 8-18.
Splash Down classes are non-competitive and aim to improve each swimmer’s confidence in the water. All students will be evaluated upon arrival and placed into smaller groups of six students per instructor, based on age and swimming ability.
