By A huge shout-out to We Run Houston, for their incredible support of our Walnut Bend Elementary School Eagles! Thanks to their generous provision of transportation and Brooks Running shoes, our young athletes were able to participate in the Chevron Houston 5K.
The dedication and enthusiasm of our Eagles were on full display as they took on the challenge of the 5K, showcasing their commitment to fitness and perseverance. This fantastic opportunity wouldn’t have been possible without the support of We Run Houston and we are immensely grateful for their partnership.
We Run Houston is a running program that helps schools create their own run clubs. The program is aimed at giving a healthier environment to kids, one of our priorities at HISD.
